Who made it?

Rian is in this cute stage where he must ask Who made it? for everything that he eats. He also transforms it into Who cook it? Sometimes he will ask the same question several times. Mumma has several answers like "Ila aunty cooked it" or "Mumma made it" or most recently "The chef in the restaurant cooked it".

Yesterday we were having some mango, and Rian goes Who cook it? Since Amit cut the mango, he thought it was right to say "Daddy cook it". Rian promptly replied Daddy no cook it. We bought it from the store, Sonu and Mumma. Also Daddy. He remembered that we bought the mangoes from Costco on our trip a few days back!

Night story

As part of his night routine, Rian gets two stories every night: a creative, innovative, total BS story about something from Daddy, and a ghisa pita roj ka rata story from mommy. Mommy's story is completely predictable and Rian knows it by heart now. Here's how it goes:

Achal dada sleeps in his own room in his own bed with his Star Wars toys all by himself, all night long. Parv dada sleeps in his own room in his Lightning McQueen bed all by himself, all night long. Shayona sleeps in her own room in her own bed with Teddy Bear all by herself, all night long. Kayaan baby sleeps in his own room in his own bed with Ducky and lots of boovs all by himself, all night long. So now, Rian will sleep in his own bed with Tiger and lots of sea animals - Octopus, Fish, Sea horse, Star Fish, Crab, Shell Fish and Turtles. And if Rian wakes up at night, Rian should go back to sleep. When the sun comes up in the morning, Rian can wake up and say "Good morning" to Mumma.

Amit says my story is like a lawyer, water tight, and covers all holes :-) But Rian has started innovating and appending to my story in a hilarious way. Tonight we caved and burst out laughing at this:
