Last week Rian broke out in red patches of skin rash everywhere on Tuesday. It seemed to get worse on Wednesday and so Daddy took him in to see the doctor. Turns out this was a case of hives. It was basically an allergic reaction to something. After much investigative thinking, Daddy came up with the cause - most probably the lovely pup Eva we met at Antonio-Greg's on the previous Saturday! Rian has patted dogs before, but I believe this one got a bit too close and personal with Rian, licking him when she cornered him in the corridor. Note to self: dogs are very cute and Rian loves them, but don't let them lick Rian.
Rian had an insect bite ~a month back and had a swollen right hand, once again a sign of allergy. Maybe at some point I should get him tested for his allergies. Ah well...
The hives were significantly reduced on Day 3, and completely gone by Day 5. That was a relief, especially after knowing some cases of hives can last upto 6 months!
